I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable, but the smell of garlic and pizza was a bit overwhelming. The access to the in yard between the two buildings was small but convenient.

The staff, especially those in charge of breakfast, were very attentive, kind, and helpful. They were in a class of their own, always making you feel special and going above and beyond.

The location of the hotel is wonderful, right on the Santa Maria Novella Square. It's within walking distance to all the important sights and restaurants, making it very convenient for exploring Florence.

The dining experience was excellent with delicious options and a nice buffet setup. I particularly enjoyed the creative salads.
